This page is to tell you a bit about me. It may be long lol, I am looking for work in the computer field and I am not having vary good luck at it so far. I am 40 years old and I served in the United States Air Force, Air National Guard and Reserves for a total of 9 years. I received an honorable discharge. I spent 19 years in construction placing mostly telephone equipment and wires throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California. I also worked on the Light rail system from Long beach to L.A as an operator/Forman for one of the leading rail companies, Herzog. I had my own business of 2 1/2 years in southern Ca. then moved back to Oregon due to the prolonged recession in 1992. At that point, I worked for Henkles and McCoy for 6 years as a Forman/Operator. I then was an Inspector for the City of Portland for 2 years and found that was not my line of work. I went back into the field as an operator/forman for several years until knee damage required me to change occupations. At this point, I fell back on my electronics training from the Air Force and went into computer tech support for a leading outsource company. I dealt with customers at every level and technicians at every level also. I have been building and repairing computers for friends and family for the past 10 years and am vary successful at doing this and it is a major plus that I enjoy it vary much. I have been thinking about starting my own business in computer repair where people can call me to come to their home and make their repairs there for them to save them from having to take their equipment down and into a repair shop for some time. This is still a possibility if I cannot find some work soon. I have not worked since March 15th and am in need of a job badly. The way companies at this time are watching the economy fluctuate, up and down it is making it vary difficult to obtain work. I study technical data continually to keep up on the latest information out there. I also play with my website and graphics programs such as Paint shop pro, Adobe and Corel. Please! If you know of an opening anywhere where my skills and talents may be of some use, do not hesitate on letting me know. and I will be vary appreciative. You may find some of the graphics and animations odd but I am not into doing the normal thing I believe my creativity should be displayed. there is a link here to go to my link page if you would like to see some of my web design and artwork.
